Wall tableau of a tessellation by Dutch artist M. C. Escher on the Princessehof ceramic museum, Leeuwarden. The tableau appears to be based on the ink and watercolour Regular Division of the Plane Drawing #47, a study for Verbum, 1942. M.C. Escher was born on 17 June 1898 in Leeuwarden.

NL: Tegeltableau van de graphicus M.C. Escher aan de buitenmuur van keramiekmuseum Princessehof te Leeuwarden. Het tableau lijkt te zijn gebaseerd op de inkt en aquarel 'Regular Division of the Plane Drawing #47' uit 1942 van M.C. Escher.
