Caption
At sunset, orange sunbeams illuminated the beginning of the Val d’Hérens from the left, while at the same time a thunderstorm with heavy rainfall moved through the valley from right to left.

For about five minutes, this created a striking play of colors: from bright yellow through warm orange (the moment captured in this photo) to deep dark blue, as the sun disappeared completely below the horizon.
