La Maya is a mountain (2916m, 9564ft high) above St-Martin in Val d'Herens (Valais, Switzerland). It's solitary mountain peak dominates the east side of the valley. Visible from afar this monolith, standing up some 100 meters from it's surroundings, attracts climbers.
